We all know some or the other people in our social circle who work till late at night and the only thing they come to home is for eating and sleeping. Such people are known for being busy all the time and they generally find themselves short of time. They never avail their paid leaves and they don’t even go on vacations.

Strictly adhere to your plan of action for the day in way that all your work is accomplished till 6 pm. Make a practise of finishing your day’s task by 6 pm and pack your bags for leaving the office. 2. Limit Usage Of Technological Devices

At workplace, you need to keep your mind attentive and you need to act creatively to ensure that you work productively. For this, you will have to limit your usage of technological devices such as smartphones, tablets and computers. You must use them for official purposes only and any personal usage is considered as a distraction from your work.

People have become accustomed to making personal calls, checking social networking site accounts and sending personal messages/ mails from the workplace. All this amounts to wastage of time, which could have been well utilised in completing pending work. Many studies have revealed that people who sleep adequately have a relaxed state of mind and are better at providing creative solutions to critical problems. Working up late at night or getting up too early for an upcoming presentation will have a negative impact on the work due to lack of proper concentration. When you don’t have adequate sleep of at least 7 hours, then you will be less attentive and your mind starts feeling stressed and irritated. Recently it has been witnessed that working professionals are getting so much engrossed in their work that they are either dependent on outside vendors for food or they just skip their meals. If you over work, you will hardly be able to keep your health in a good condition. You will have meals outside, which are prepared without maintaining proper hygiene and are mostly spicy and oily. Such food stuffs provides you with dead calories and no nutrients.

Moreover, if you are habitual of skipping meals for working hard then you will become used to eating a large portion of food whenever you find time that will make you gain weight in the long run.
