7 Apple Cider Vinegar Tricks for Gorgeous Hair, Skin & Nails

Apple Cider Vinegar Tricks for Skin

It is hard to think that a simple liquid like apple cider vinegar could be beneficial for your beauty routine. While it was always recommended to include this vinegar in your daily diet to promote your health, you may not have known that it is useful for your hair, skin, and nails too. So, if you are tired of using the regular chemical-laden beauty products, here are a few tricks you can try with apple cider vinegar:

  1. A better pedicure alternative

It is a universal truth that pedicures at salons are expensive. Most people think that they get premium service at salons, and that’s why they are ready to spend the extra cash. But, you can achieve the same results using apple cider vinegar at home. Removing heavy-duty callouses is one of the primary reasons why you may visit your nearest salon. Instead, take a bowl and combine two parts of water with one part of apple cider vinegar. Soak your feet in the bowl for 20 minutes and remove callouses using a natural pumice stone. It will also keep nail fungus away.

  1. No more blemishes

There is no better solution to prevent blemishes and cleanse your skin than apple cider vinegar. Take one-part distilled water for this trick and mix it with one part of ACV. After washing your face, pat it with a soft towel. Use a cotton pad to apply the solution on your face. It is better to do this before going to bed. The skin will absorb the ingredients leaving your face blemish-free.

  1. Cleansing your hair

Using shampoos and conditioners with chemical ingredients often leave your hair entangled. It may also lead to premature hair-fall, which is never a pretty sight. These shampoos make your hair dull and dry, and even though they claim to provide shiny and bouncy hair, they are never able to sustain their quality. But, if you don’t want to change your shampoo and conditioner just yet, you can always rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar once every month to make your hair soft and shiny.

  1. Treat your sunburn

Apple cider vinegar, you can take the sting away from sunburn. Take one part of water and two parts of apple cider vinegar in a bowl. Use a clean cotton washcloth to pat the affected areas with this solution. Leave it to dry. It is wise to apply the solution whenever you come back home. Of course, when you’re outside in the sun for work or leisure, please develop the habit of using a good sunscreen so you can avoid sunburn in the first place!

  1. Skin softener

Skin softeners and moisturizers often claim that they can successfully soften your skin, but with the harsh chemicals in their ingredients, the effects are not long-lasting. While most people are tempted to buy an expensive softener because they think that the costlier ones would provide the desired results, this is not entirely true. Instead, mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water. Take a few drops and massage it on your hands and face. Again, do this before going to sleep. There’s no need to rinse it away.

  1. An innovative sheet mask

Sheet masks are the hottest trend in the beauty industry. But, the masks you usually use contain harmful chemicals that don’t promote skin health. You can replace them by mixing even quantities of water and apple cider vinegar. Also, take manuka honey and mix a tablespoon of it in this mixture. This mixture will make for a non-toxic, safe mask. Take some cotton gauze strips, dip them in the solution, and leave them on your face for about 20 minutes. You may or may not rinse your face after you keep them away.

  1. A new makeup remover

Mix two parts of water with one part of apple cider vinegar and keep it in a container. This mixture will be your new makeup remover. It is not only useful in removing makeup but also useful for your skin. Use a cotton cloth or cotton balls to remove your makeup from now on.

With so many benefits of apple cider vinegar for your skin, hair, and nails, it is high time you stop using the chemically-made beauty products and use natural ingredients for a change.
