In general startup term is used by the entrepreneur who is an individual willing to start a new business and those who are ready to take risks while other people are not. In different definitions, it can be defined as entrepreneurship not only involves starting your own businesses but also people those who don’t work for themselves are recognized as entrepreneurs within their organizations and when coming to the word startup, it is defined as a company which is designed to grow fast and the only essential thing required here is the skill and its growth. So to become a successful entrepreneur, he/she should possess the skills of personal traits, leadership and managerial skills in common.

So when taken in the managerial terms some skills of an entrepreneur are here,

1. Being organized.

It plays a major role in the skill of an entrepreneur as he/she should be well planned and organized with a clear set of goals and ethics to start new businesses. Right from the sales, financing and budgeting he/she should maintain a clear set of information by making a proper business plan. And a clear vision and ethics should be set for any organization at the very first place and being very dedicative at every part of the work involved and well managed.

2. Being optimistic in nature.

Optimistic in the sense he/she should be a positive thinker as optimism  plays  a very  true asset to any entrepreneur and it will help them get  through their tough times that many entrepreneurs experience in common as they find a proper business model that is suitable for them.

3. Communication and managing time.

As he/she should be able to coordinate properly with the people and the ability to sell the ideas and persuade them and ability to manage time and people in a very effective way and being self motivated and very disciplined.

4. Being innovative and facing risks.

Innovative in the sense being very creative in every aspect of their ideas and thinking and ready to take risks and making the right decisions when the things are uncertain.

5. Proper decision making and problem solving techniques.

When the things are not proper being an entrepreneur, he/she should be responsible to solve problems in a very easy and positive way and coming up with the fresh ideas and taking the right decisions in a right manner in a right time for maintaining a successful business in their future endeavors.

And some business related skills are here, as he/she being an entrepreneur they should be able to draw up a proper business plan for a new venture and should be able to market and sell a new product or idea in an effective way and maintaining the clear set of financial skills, such as book-keeping sales and calculating taxes, and having the awareness of intellectual property and possibly patent law.

Hence these are some of the most common skills which is required for an entrepreneur to run their start ups in a successful manner.
