While it’s extremely tempting to send the same template to thousands of people, you will find this doesn’t work as well as you hope. Why? People love personalised messages, not only does this mean your emails convert to leads but it also means people may be more likely to buy your product or service because they feel they’re getting special treatment. However, we aren’t advising you simply send out one email at a time because if your mailing list has thousands of people on it, this will take a long time. Keep your message via email, personal and relevant so that people always open them and are interested in reading.

Sundays are the best day for emails as people tend to scroll on their phones a lot more than other days. Alternatively, weekdays before 8am and after 7pm work well too as people are commuting too and from work. Keep in mind, you shouldn’t be sending emails late at night unless you’re promoting a product for people who would be up at this time (such as sleeping tablets for those who suffer from insomnia!). Choosing a schedule is also best as it will allow you to get into a habit of writing and sending over emails every week! 

Tip 5: Send News Related Emails

With recent news dividing many countries, there is nothing better than getting a news related email from a brand or company. You should obviously relate it to your company is one way or another but doing so allows you to stay relevant in your industry and get people clicking on those all-important emails. The true way to crack email marketing is to increase your subscriber count and get more people excited about receiving your emails. One great way to do this is to report on everything news related! Keep it unbiased though, you don’t want to side with some of your potential customers and not with others!
