How to Avoid Burnt Taste Vape

Many people in the United States and the world are vaping. This is nothing new for many of us. However, if you are a new vaper or you are just not super familiar with the technical parts, you may experience a burnt taste when you vape. This will be because your coils are burning and you need to maintain them properly. If this is your problem you should read this article to help ensure that you are not experiencing this burnt taste anymore. Remember to check this definitive guide to the best E-cigs so you’ll know if it’s the coil that give the burnt taste or your it’s a problem with your vape.

1. Prime the Coils Before Using

If you are not doing this step, the coil will burn before you get anything out of it. So, when you are installing a new coil or buying a new vape, you should prime it. What is priming? This is where the wick of your vape is dry and goes to wet. This takes about five minutes to do. Between the time you fill your tank and take the first puff should be at least five minutes if not longer.

However, if you are waiting a long enough time period, you do not need to prime. You do however need to ensure that your wick is completely soaked before taking a hit otherwise the coil is going to burn and you will experience that burnt taste.

If you really want to ensure that the wick is wet you can prime it manually. This is going to be soaking the wick before you put it in the vape. You can also take a puff off the vape without hitting the power button to help prime it as well. There are a few methods of priming but you should generally make sure it is primed before using the vape.

If you are priming the coil before using it and still experiencing a burnt taste, you should first visit eliquid.com and check out their top 12 replacement coils. Then, you should visit a local shop and ask for help.

2. Avoid Chain Vaping

Chain vaping is going to help you ruin your coil faster.  Chain vaping is where you just continuously vape until you cannot see anything or even your vape through the clouds. The reason that you do not want to do this is that your wick needs to be able to re-saturate with the juice, CBD oil, or whatever you are using before you fire away again. If you are using the vape normally, this is not a problem. However, if you are going to chain vape then you are going to allow the wick to dry out and possibly burn.

3. Reduce the Power Setting

If you are vaping at a higher wattage you are going to be vaporizing the juice every time you take a puff. While this is good for big clouds, it can impact the life of your coil. If you are vaping at a faster and higher rate your wick is not going to be able to soak up the juice and will dry out. When this happens, your wick is more susceptible to burning.

You should reduce the power setting if you notice a lack of taste or a burnt taste.

4. Keep Tank Topped

If you have a low amount of juice in your tank, you are not allowing the juice to properly soak into the wick. When this happens, you are drying out the wick and making it taste burnt. Keep in mind that the juice must be at a certain level in the tank to reach the ports that bring fluid to the wick.

Conclusion

It is easy to get that burnt taste in a wick or coil. However, with a few simple and easy solutions you are able to save yourself money and flavor all in one go.
