What They Have in Common

First thing’s first, here are some of the features that Samsung Galaxy S10 and the S10e have in common. Both the S10 and S10e are powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with a standard Android 9 Pie OS, featuring ultra-premium glass and aluminum designs available in a variety of colors. The two also have a 10 MP front-facing camera, AMOLED displays, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an expandable storage through a microSD card up to 512GB, and offers wireless charging with an additional new feature that allows phones to charge wirelessly through Wireless PowerShare.

Their Differences

The Samsung Galaxy S10 is slightly bigger than the S10e since the former has a 6.1inch Quad HD+ Curved display while the latter has a 5.8inch Full HD+ Flat display (93.1% vs 91.6% screen-to-body ratio).

In comparison to S10e’s side-mounted fingerprint sensor, S10 is uniquely different when it comes to its security since it has an embedded in-display fingerprint sensor. Using Qualcomm’s new feature called Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor Technology, it senses, scans and records a 3d image of your fingerprint that makes your phone well secured.

Another notable difference between the two would be their cameras. The S10e is limited to only two cameras with primary and ultra-wide sensors while S10 has at least 3 rear cameras in total, its third cam having a 12MP telephoto lens with optical image stabilization.

In terms of internal features, the Galaxy S10 has a storage capacity of 128GB or 512GB with an 8GB RAM and a battery capacity of 3,400 mAh; in comparison to the Galaxy s10e that has a storage capacity of 128GB or 256GB with a 6GB RAM, and a shorter battery capacity than the S10 with a 3,100 mAh.

Despite some few differences, the S10e still has a lot of important commonalities with S10. The only matter of preference here would be the sleek design, better viewing experience, its quick processing, longer battery life and powerful cameras then the Samsung Galaxy S10 is a luxury you should indulge on. But if you prefer a more minimalist approach and still get wonderful benefits of the S10 series without tearing up your wallet then the Samsung Galaxy S10e would be the wise choice.
