The overnight star Hrithik Roshan, who is the heart throbbing actor of Bollywood, rule millions all across the globe. The actor acquired his stardom in Bollywood industry by pure dedication, hardwork and honesty, despite of all odds. Hrithik had always aspired to be an actor but he had always confronted some utmost problems in his life that would have confined him back. He thrashed every trouble and fulfilled his dreams. Here are some less known life struggles of Hrithik Roshan.

Struggling Superstar

The Greek God of Bollywood emerged as an actor at the very young age of six in 1980 film Aasha, where he danced on the film sets without his knowledge and got a pay cheque of Rs. 100. Then he got a large role to depict in 1986 film Bhagwaan Dada. At the age of 26 Hrithik entered Bollywood with his debut film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai directed by his father and veteran actor Rakesh Roshan. But his first success was followed by numerous failures, in 2002 Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum and Mujhse Dosti Karoge, in 2003 Main Prem Ki Diwani Hun. But Hrithik was too hard to get affected by his failures, hence he focused on solo ventures like Koi… Mil Gya, Krish, Dhoom 3 and Jodha Akbar where he again got back to track of success. Yet again, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish featured Hrithik in a quadric pledgic character, but the film didn’t work well at box office, but Hrithik’s depiction was commendable. Hrithik then came back with a bang to prove himself as a best struggling star working in ventures like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara which garnered so many awards and Bang Bang which was a hit in the box office.

Stuttering Struggle

Hrithik admitted that this problem had appeared when he was six year old. He used to stutter so badly that he was bunking his classes during the oral tests. His childhood was hell for him as his classmates used to tease him due to his stammering. Hrithik also took medication and gone through treatments to overcome his stammering issue, from homeopathy, hypnotism, speaking with marbles under the tongue, physiotherapy. He always read his book or novels or newspapers loudly, as he was advised by his speech therapist not to read anything silently. Hrithik, however, developed his own techniques to get the correct pronunciation and gradually healed his stuttering problems.

Fighting Medical Issues

At the age of 21 he was diagnosed with scoliosis a medical condition which means the spine gets ‘S’ or ‘C’ shaped or curved. Due to this medical condition, Hrithik got bed-ridden for one year and was told by his doctors that he could never become an actor or could never dance. But one day he realized that he is not born to live like this hence he stood up, preparing himself remarkably for his screen debut including everything acting, singing, dancing, fencing, riding etc. sessions for years. He also prepared hard for his diction and physical appearance under the guidance of another Bollywood actor, Salman Khan. Hrithik also mentioned about his right hand extra thumb finger which was an ugly piece for him, used to repel people and his friends in school. But he accepted it proudly and took it as a bless of God for all his success. Not only this, Hrithik’s last released film Bang Bang took Hrithik’s strenuous hard work despite of his knee injury. Hrithk had 40% ligament tear in both of his legs, but he wanted to shoot to wrap up the film shooting, as he never wanted his crew to suffer for his knee injury.

Hrithik’s divorce with Sussanne Khan Roshan

Hrithik’s estranged wife Sussanne Khan when declared it officially for their split up, Hrithik’s fan following were shocked getting this news. Hrithik recently opened up about his split with Sussanne Khan said that, “separation is worse than death”. Hrithik has also stated that Sussanne will always be his love. Despite of this actor’s heart break affair, Hrithik tried his best not to affect his career and his film projects. The worst time of this actor’s life would have held him back and drifted him away from his signed ventures, but Hrithik is known for his professionalism and sincerity towards his personal and professional life.
