Planning Your Podcast

Planning Podcast

Are you setting up a podcast for the first time, looking to boost your current podcast to a more polished feel, or want to increase the number of guests you can include? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you to achieve any of these goals. Planning out starting a podcast or increasing the quality or distribution of your current podcast does not have to be a huge undertaking, especially with the use of our professional podcast studio.

Planning Step-by-Step

When planning out a podcast, there are certain things you will need to know before you begin:

  • What topic/topics will you be covering?
  • Will there be an overarching narrative/theme?
  • How many hosts will there be?
  • Will you have guests?
  • Where will you record?
  • Will you record with everyone in the same room?

A lot of the above can be tested and changed as the podcast progresses, and some answers will require trial and error to get exactly what you are hoping for.

It is important that you complete your research into what producing a podcast will entail, plan out how you will edit each episode and how to maximize your sound quality. You could try testing out your setup if you plan to record at home to check if this will be good enough.

Hiring a Podcast Studio

If you find that the sound quality or the acoustics of the space you have at home is not sufficient, or you would like to test out the difference between your home setup and a more professional podcast setting, we recommend you check out podcast studio hire. You can hire a studio from us or a number of companies on either a one-off or recurring basis.

Our studio is set up for up to four people to record together, with high-quality equipment and excellent acoustics in the room. We are competitively priced, and we are confident that you will want to continue to work with us after your first booking. You can hire our podcast studio by the hour, half day, or full day depending on your needs. The full-day booking is the most cost-effective, so it could be beneficial to record a number of episodes consecutively to save the additional hire costs of recording by the hour.

We offer a wide range of additional services whether you are spending an hour or a day with us and our customers appreciate the facilities that we offer. We can also arrange a discount if you wish to hire lighting and camera equipment to film while you record your podcast; please speak to our team when making your booking if you require this.

We are very proud of our studio specs, full details available on our website, especially the recording space setup with sound-deadening walls and, of course, our brilliant audio equipment. You can see more images of the podcast studio available to hire on our website and read testimonials from some of our customers too.

If you would like any further information about a potential booking or to see the space in person, please do not hesitate to contact our customer services team.
